Probably going to take some time for him to adjust to the system. If he can be Alex Reese-esque, I think that's good. Will be interesting to see how they play it this season with three players at 5.
Just throwing this in here... not worth another thread... but gives a good idea of where Bama stands as a basketball school... Oats is obviously carrying them up the ladder, but they were already firmly on the ladder at least. That's just 4 SEC schools ahead of Bama, including Texas.

If they expand it beyond the dark days for Bama Basketball pretty sure Bama jumps to 2nd at least in wins in the SEC. Bama basketball had a really bad 20 year window post Wimp except for a small reprieve under Gottrfied.

Tennessee has absolutely no business being above Alabama. It isn't much of a gap, but Alabama making it to the Final Four gives us the advantage.
They especially have no business being above schools like Ohio State, Baylor, Louisville, Michigan, Purdue, Wisconsin, and Houston. All schools mentioned have not only made it to the F4, but have played for a national title. Louisville and Baylor have won it.
