Gonna take a bit of a miracle now obviously. Best case, USM has to burn through some arms (they are deep). They are saving their ace for tomorrow, but should be safe for today. But, Bama avoids their ace so that probably saves us (me anyway) some amount of frustration. Would probably be best if Miami beats USM tomorrow... I'd feel much better about Bama winning 2 vs. Miami than I would USM, though confidence would be low regardless. Of course, getting dumped by Columbia tomorrow afternoon is also in play, unfortunately. But gonna have to hope Adams and Fay are [ON] and that a couple of others can really step up, especially if it were to get to Sunday. And the bats, especially the guys like Fowler, Lebron, Snell, Hodo, and Bonomolo have got to step up. This team is a knife that lacks an edge, and it's too late to develop one now. But they have the guys to be dangerous, which makes this fizzling end to the season so frustrating.

LOL, Of course, Columbia beats USM (easily at that). Columbia was probably the most dangerous 4 seed in the regionals, but I didn’t see them taking down USM (though I sorta figured USM would throw their ace). Now, Bama has to face him (JB Middleton) in the elimination game tomorrow afternoon. Fun.

If there is a sliver of good news from all this, it’s that if Bama can somehow, someway, wiggle free tomorrow and eliminate USM, their path then is much more manageable. In terms of arms, they’d be on much more equal footing with Miami and Columbia.

Yesterday's results plus today's lineups:

I did this for my own sake...but, I'll share. 🙃

We talked earlier this week how 1 in 4 regional hosts don't make it to the Super's. Four of the sixteen are facing elimination today.
