I listened to the second half two WF players and cold shooting killed us.

One thing that stood out... 1st Bama had 8 3's and 10 assists as a team. 2nd half, just 1 3 and 1 assist. It's not worth much stock, it being a glorified scrimmage and all, but still...

Didn't get to listen to the game, but sounded like typical Oats team early in the season. His teams usually have a ton of turnovers early on and issues with blocking out. Only big criticism from this is Oats needs to learn how to take timeouts. Maybe it was just a coaching moment for a scrimmage, but he's let teams go on a run for 5-6 minutes without taking any TOs to help shift momentum.

Nelson, Waters, and Estrada are the real deal. Sears also didn't play, which will help for better ball movement and more leadership on the court.

Alabama got drilled last season in a scrimmage, so this is nothing to melt over.

This is my major issue with CNO, I understand he loves the momentum of basketball and feels stopping it hinders his team more. But if your team is currently giving up 8-16 points in a row without a sign of playing well, you need a moment to get their minds right and start the momentum again.

This was used well against us last year in our losses including in the NCAA tournament.
