Drinking isn't that big of a deal but this thing is getting really tiresome.

That's just it, kudzu. I am sure that Sabans' patience has to be running thin these days with all of the off-the-field issues. Even the smaller problems seem to be really magnified.

I agree. I'm sure he's sick and tired of this kind of crap popping up. What can he do though? You can't be a baby sitter 24-7.
These kids have got to understand what they doing, as slight as it is it is still hurting the team and program. Maybe the players can take control. I'm sure Saban is doing all he can with-in the rules.

It may just be a walk-on, but he still represents this team. I know it's hard to stay out of trouble in Tuscaloosa(trust me), but you have to be extra careful if you're representing the University and Football team. Not trying to be so critical, I'm just sick of them setting bad examples. Saban's gonna hurt this guy.

In Saban's cut-n-drive world of right and wrong, it is a big deal. However, I know what you are saying. With this happening to a walk-on in the spring, he Saban may be afforded the luxury of letting the program internal organization (peer counseling) address this.

Still, with an over-signed class, a walk-on getting himself arrested was a stupid move.

I was talking with a friend of mine yesterday about all of the crap going down in the SEC: Perriloux, MSU players shooting guns, Florida player using a dead ladies credit card......we couldn't believe all of this was going on in just one conference. I told him, at least Bama's not invovled in anything this time. Then I watched the evening news. Good Lord, here we go again. It makes you wonder, is the disipline too soft or is the lifestyle of these kids to blame before they even get to college? People start screaming at the head coaches cause they're not handling it right. Why aren't people saying anything about the parents who raised these trouble makers. I know college life is their first expereince of independence away from home and the kids are adjusting but, the parents should be teaching them right from wrong before letting them off the leash at home.
