Bama is going to get killed by Florida is a statement that most non-Bama fans are saying and what a lot of people think.

THIS IS PERFECT FOR US!!!

I have to believe that this is the best possible scenario for our team going into the SEC champ game. With the big win over FSU I think UF will be high on life. While there celebrating, we are scheming! I think again our players got a reality check and realize they are going to have to work very hard in order to accomplish the goal for next week.

So for tonight, live it up Gators your number one!

I'm not nearly as confident in our success after watching the Iron Bowl. Auburn's weak, weak defensive front 7 whipped us at the line of scrimmage for 3 1/2 quarters--I am still in shock on that one. We had better get much more physical on the line of scrimmage in the next 7 days we will get dominated.

well, I'll say this, as it's been said or thought before.

Auburn was gonna come out swinging, we haven't been a big offense in the 1st half all year long (so it has seemed to me), it's a rivalry game, I know alot of people on the board didn't take Auburn serious...maybe the team didn't either. Getting them 36-0 last year rarely happens, as they showed during the game, 17 of the last 21 games have been decided by 10 pts or less (not including this game), they stuffed our run game big time, our passing game lacks sometimes (not sure if this is due to OC or QB), road game and we are #2 playing an unranked with a big ole bullseye and it's a rivarly that had a week off to prepare.

Bring on Florida, I'm hoping this game will rock them team enough to get over the hump with Florida, hopefully Saban will pull out the Florida/Utah games of last year and the Tenn/Auburn games of this year as some examples.

I'm tired of talking about Auburn, it's Florida week, lets kick some gator butt.

Since Auburn did it, I guess that makes the lines performance up to that game pointless....

Actually, I think we have the edge. We have a tough, talented team looking for retribution against a good team, but not as good as the team that beat us in the 4th last year.

Id actually argue that we should be favored, but I think perception over the final game will result in florida being favored once again.

Opinions and bellibuttons...everyone has one...and neither carries any weight in the outcome of the game.

Tell them "Lets talk about something more important than that at the moment...Breath mints."

if Alabama's defense comes out asleep against florida it may be worse than 14-0 by the time we stop them. the offense i think will do fine against florida's D. at least as well as we did against SC or ole Miss... enough to put up 20-28 pts.

Had an LSU friend to call me yesterday after the Iron Bowl. In our conversation, he said that Auburn blew it by going conservative offensively after the 1st quarter. He also said the "poor clock management" by the Barn's staff won it in the end for Bama.

He's a good friend so I didn't tell him how full of beans (read that however you want) he was,:fight: but I sure as heck thunk it.

I'm going to have to do that tomorrow morning during church.
This is what I want to do as I listen to them.:nopity:

Florida isn't better than they were last year, so I don't see where we're in trouble. Florida dominates a very bad FSU, so now all of a sudden Superman and his sheep are the greatest thing in college football? They had WAY more weapons last year adn we dang near had them, so I think if we play our kind of game we win easy.

No Aubrun fan I know will approach me with that lame crap unless they want to get served.:a::smile:

Florida has fewer tools than they had last year. Bama has more than last year. I have not heard any nea-sayers account for this in their predictions.

"Same ole same ole" and "because that is what happened last year" are half brained reasonings.

Tebow is so much more alone and on an island this year. Case in point is the rise of Hernandez. Hernandez has a big year because UF needs him this year, thus has leaned more heavily on him. Riley Cooper and a Tight End are a much easier task for a Saban Defensive Backfield, who by the way are better and deeper than last year (When the #1 DB propect in America -Dre Kirkpatrick- signs and can't get on the field, your starters are good.)

Florida is a space Offense, they need space. The answer to that Offense is an athletic disiplined team. Moreso for Alabama than anyone else, that is what Bama's D is. But for just enough tools in the toolbox last year, Bama beats FLA. Few tools in their box this year, along with a better Defense by Bama this year is why it will not turn out the same.

Of by the way, Bama's O is better than last year as well....as well as Special Teams.

And the X factor: What value-added with our one extra day bring? Better scouting? A few more tricks inserted into the play book? One day's rest fresher in the legs?

If we don't pack our lunch and come ready to work. It will be a long day, simple as that! My Father told me it's was a good thing the game was so close, because it reminds the players if you don't go 100% you could have been beat. "Even the strong get there ass whipped." like CNS said. Got to love the man!

My dad (who is pessimistic as hell anyway) said after we played like that against Auburn there is no way in hell we can beat Florida. he said we're obviously not as good as we thought and then I asked him how bad we beat Arkansas. He said 35-7. I asked him how about we beat Mississippi State. He said 31-3. Then I asked him to think about how Florida played those two teams, and there not even rivals. Every week anything can happen and I am still very confident we WILL win this Saturday.
