📝 Bama Flips Nation's No. 1 Punter From Tennessee

Nice. JK has been a tremendous asset to Alabama the last three years, especially when the offense put us in bad positions with young players, and with a killer defense it put us in a better position. Glad we will have the opportunity with another great punter to help us with field position in the future.

Lord knows UT needs a punter due to the offensive power they have.

They are giddy with the knowledge their OL has more experience coming back than any SEC team and actually finished 2nd nationally in that department. I was kind of giggling when I read Phil Steele's recent projection for Tenn OL at mid-pack.

Back in '12 they had 115 or 117 start's coming back along the offensive line. They ended the season 5-7, with one SEC win over a two win Kentucky team.

But, their offense wasn't too bad that season. Their defense was horrid.

OL really wasn't their strength last season for sure. I got to believe a lot of those starts had to do with injuries that decimated both sides of the LOS. I also suspect they will be asking a lot real soon from Trey Smith.
