IMO Oregon should be #1. They manhandled that stout MSU defense for 28 unanswered points. Meanwhile FSU plodded along versus an FCS team. No offense to the Citadel of course. Glad they swung some of those #1 votes.

Bama is right where we want to be. They need that kick. They need to be ready to fight for that final four spot. It's gonna be a tough road to the finals with the way things are lookin .. Bama, UCLA, USC, Auburn, LSU, Oregon, FSU, Oklahoma, TAMU, UGA all contenders.

Pac and SEC are gonna cannibalize themselves this year.

At this rate ..

SEC - Alabama, Auburn, LSU, UGA, TAMU, LSU .. SEC West, good lord ..
PAC - Oregon, UCLA, USC
Big 12 - Oklahoma
ACC - FSU

Only "shoe-ins" right now seem to be Oklahoma and FSU .. Big Ten looks out of contention right now .. But as we saw in 2012 with Kansas State and Oregon, anything can happen!

Orgeon was insane once they got rolling and found their action traction. Sparty ain't no slouch, but that beat down?

We don;t deserve to be in the Top 10. After watching yesterday I see Oregon and Michigan State dominating us, Oklahoma kicking us again, USC giving beating us. We're not a Top 5 team in my eyes. Our defense is just lacking. Yeah Yeah Yeah, we shutout Florida Atlantic, woopty doo. Any team with any kind of athletes will shred our ass right now. We just don't have a killer instinct or that IT factor on defense in my eyes. I think we just have a lot of guys running around with a lot of talent. Rashaan Evans needs to be on the field, as does Tony Brown. Those two will give us a chance to win. Our pass rush is awful as well. Sorry, not sounding all doom and gloom, but watching some other good programs pay yesterday opened my eyes to all the holes we actually have.

Good lord.

You made completely unsupported claims that any team with athletes would shred us based off some perception that an "it" factor is missing. Then you claimed that two true freshman need to be starting after seeing them play a few plays, even though Rashaan Evans in particular couldn't possibly know his position responsibilities sufficiently. You don't have to sugar coat anything, but if you come on here being melodramatic with unsupported claims, expect to get some laughs.

If Va Tech can stay healthy and continue to improve, FSU may not be # 1 in the ACC.

Clemson, Louisville, Notre Dame, and Florida probably stand the best chance at beating FSU on the regular schedule. Would love to see Syracuse do it .. or worse, someone like Wake Forest lol. FSU likely wins the Atlantic, VA Tech probably takes Coastal .. GO HOKIES if that happens haha.

All those teams would shred us? We don't have that killer instinct or "IT" factor on defense? Now I complained a bunch during and after the game against WVU, but our defense that game playing as awesome as we did (joking obviously) closed the game with a couple of good stops.

Oregon would kill us? Michigan St would kill us? USC would kill us? Really? Based on what? Michigan ST allowed Oregon to come back by double digits then get whooped. Oregon was down double digits at the half and Michigan St stopped doing what gave that lead. USC didn't look dominate at all.

The doom and gloom is a bit ridiculous you know since we are 2-0 and yesterday we had over 500 yards and held FAU to under 200. Everybody thinks Oregon is special based on Michigan St. They played a cupcake the first game, so their dominance is a bit stupid. We dominated yesterday, but our dominating an overmatched opponent is different from Oregon's how?

I'm gonna speak the truth, not sugarcoat it and tell you what you want to hear, so not sure what your complaint is. I prefer we dominate everyone, but Saturday was a weird game to me, and then to see what Oregon and USC did, it makes you dig a little deeper and see why we haven't looked like that when were ranked #2.

Come on now, 334. I hate to be all, "you aint a coach" but Saban knows better than anybody who our best corners are. To even suggest that he is purposely not playing the best players at each position is asinine.

Oregon looked good. Defense gave up 27 points and 466 yards of offense. USC did not once look good. Only had 291 yards of offense Gave up 413 yards. Also allowed Stanford to drive inside their 30 yard line on EVERY drive. Stanford should have won easily, choked everytime they were in position to score.

If we're going to point at other teams and wish we looked like them, USC isn't a team I'd point out.

I wouldn't want to play like any of those teams.

I think we could hang with any team in the top 10. And that's without my crimson colored glasses. At our absolute best, we deserve that #2 or #3. But we need to play more consistently on all sides of the ball for me to believe we deserve it so far. We need a true test.
