🏈 BAMA and Notre Dame back in talking stages...

The problem with the ND neutral site games is that they are not neutral site games. They are off site home games, which is why NBC has the TV rights. NBC can not be very happy about ND's selection of opponents for the past and future off site home games. They may be pressuring ND to buy out Baylor in 2012 at New Orleans and replace them with Bama. But Bama would require a 50-50 ticket split, and I just don't see ND agreeing to that, unless NBC grabs them by the you know what and really gets their attention.

I've heard that was the original hold-up with the "back room suggestions/discussions" were taking place.

But, those in our camp insisted it be a true neutral field game or a home and home series, etc.

If this doesn't come together it's not that big of a deal in my eyes.
