The offiating crew that blew the Ark/Fla game and the LSU/UGA game are gonna be in T-town this weekend. Sorry 'bout that. Good crew to have if you're the home team. ****ty crew to have as a visitor trying for the upset.

Im pretty sure they dont announce crews this early in the week. Im not even sure they make public which crew is going where (think Vegas shaddiness)

Good....those refs will be on guard against calling any stupid plays. I'll take almost any crew over the ones we had last week. I think those guys screw Bama everytime we have them.

No it wasn't Penn Wagers, Shaw or Ritter. This crew is not recognizable from years past.

If I had to bet, I would say we get Ritter's crew. He seems to do all our CBS games or at least a lot of them. He looks like this when he's calling the penalty...... :shock:.

You may be right.

I recall reading a write-up on the game and the writer blamed it on Rocky. But, when I started thinking about it I realized it wasn't him.

The SEC suspended this crew for two weeks today. (no game for them this week or next)

I was right in my assumption that no way the SEC (or anybody) would be dumb enough to release which crew would be where on TUES!

I saw your comment on that and thought it was spot on.

Penn Wagers wouldn't say where he was going to be this weekend. But, did say it'll be Saturday night and a South Carolina fan would know where he was when he saw the game.

A guy that goes to church with one of the line judges on Matt Austin's crew has been yelling it's Austin's crew due in Tuscaloosa this week. I didn't mention it to Penn...I was more interested in what he had to say about the crew's calls (Ark vs UF.) I knew what was coming...still, it's entertaining listening to him go on about it.

We are human...if you can do it apply...we study all the calls...we are human...if you can do it apply...we are human.

Oh, did I mention he said, "We are human?"

BTW, he did say he's seen the tape/spot/dot on the field for years in SEC play. He normally just addresses the player.

And, shot down a bit of a loud mouth USC fan about their "helmet to helmet" no call.

One of the refs. was due to be off this coming weekend anyway .So his suspension for 3 weeks is only for two.
D.A. question ,Can a school or a.d. protest to not have ''joe blows crew'' officiate an upcoming game ,even if they dont know who until close to game time ? Im thinking this is going to change alot about how college football goes about their bizz. when it comes to refs. Iknow they broke up the ''joe blow crew'' Guys working togather on a regular basis awhile back.
But this is a serious matter .These guys are going to ref. a ballgame after their suspension I think i would retire before i walked into a stadium in stripes if i where these cats.:no-no:
