🏈 Anyone know what Glen Coffee is up to now-a-day?

Was kind of a weird career at Bama. Terry Grant was more the featured back in 2007 as a true freshman than either Glen Coffee or Roy Upchurch. Then Coffee comes on in 08 and Grant is hardly ever seen again. Of the 3 running backs, only Glen Coffee didn't win a national title at Bama.

The reason Grant had better numbers than Coffee did in '07 is because Glen was suspended for four games due to the textbook violations. As soon as he was reinstated he was the #1 back. Grant didn't get any carries in the Auburn or Colorado games after he returned.

I picked Upchurch to be the starting back going into the '09 year. Was thinking I was a prophet in the VT game, then he kinda disappeared until he was in on the game saving TD in the IB.

Something screwy with the reply box, if I try to move my cursor back to earlier, to make an edit, it will not place the cursor, it highlights the nearest letter to overwrite it. Hence no space in between first and second sentence of previous post, did not want to overwrite the whole damned post.

Never had that happen. The editor isn't part of the core so there may be something amiss.

What was the story...Greg pleading to run that play with Roy during the timeout? It's been awhile since I've thought about that play.

From the way Greg tells it, Saban came up with it on the sidelines. He said "Hey, what's that play we run in practice with Roy, inside the 5 yard line? Let's run that."

That may have been it...I'll take a google search sometime soon.

That is awesome!!! Thought it was interesting that in the training days Panunzio is coaching RB's. He's one of Saban's good ole boys so must be a trustworthy dude, just doesn't seem like a specialized RB guy since he's coached in a number of roles. Awesome to see another stud RB in the mix helping them also

(In that series I noticed the RB's watching video and referring to what "he" would tell them... Figured they were referring to Burton Burns. Anyone else catch that or am I trippin'?)

Loved watching Coffee run

Somebody mentioned Grant. My best memory of Terry Grant is the '07 10rc game. Watching him help beat those crap hounds from the cheap seats in BDS. One of my favorite game memories seeing CNS choke the life out of phat phil
