🏈 Anyone know about Ruggs III?

He's going to have a fun season next year. A little family competition in skel drills would be fun to watch.

Cards on the table @TerryP who is coming back? What say you?
Recently you made a comment about how unlikely it would be for Kevontae to transfer in as a walk-on. His classification (IE: WO, PWO, scholly) isn't something I can answer. If all goes as expected he'll be here in May and have a year playing with his brother.

The three wide offensive set next season is going to as dangerous as it was this past season. Four wide, with Metchie (in one set) is going to be a hell of a lot of fun to watch. d

Off topic a bit, I work with a woman who competed professionally in Taekwondo. Her professional career was derailed due to too many concussions. She said this is tracked and once you've had too many documented cases, they ban you from competing professionally.

Wonder if other sports will follow this in the future.

I have to think at some point, medical coverage will play a role in shaping this somehow.

Don't you be coy with me. Tua? Najee? Wills? McKinney?

I think HR3 got a 2nd round grade ...which is hard to believe but I know he needs more polish on his routes so that could be why. He was mocked in middle of 1st by everyone but seems like he's willing to round out the rest of his game. I think the narrative is he's a speed guy with very good hands , so he probably wants to prove himself for one more year. I would have never believed we'd get alot of these juniors back in a million years when this year started.

If I'm not mistaken didn't Ruggs really just start playing football in high school and was more of a basketball player? I felt like he just shot out of a cannon at Alabama where they said he was raw and would be a project. Hell, his first seven catches or so went for touchdowns as a Freshman.

I don't think there's an official policy, but many schools tell a player not to play anymore. The player can no longer suit up and word is put out as "not medically cleared to play."

What more can I say, Josh? I'm not being coy. There are a few threads where we've talked about Tua and Xavier just like Wills in other threads.

Najee? I've not asked about him. He hasn't come up in any conversations I've had and I've not seen mention of him often from people I tend to trust.

I'll try to summize @TerryP 's previous intuitions... He can correct me if I'm wrong

-McKinney a true coin toss to come back
-Tua slightly better than a coin toss to come back (ish?)
-D. Smith a solid lean to come back
-Ruggs a lean to come back
-Najee likely gone
-Wills likely gone
-Leatherwood stays (already proven)
-Moses stays (hopefully already proven)

Rumors going around that he's leaving due to baby on the way. not sure how legit it is.
