I wouldnt mind seeing something in black or the crimson pants. Last year, LSU, used the white helmets for one game and they looked sharp. I could even settle for a helmet change.

Personally, I do not like the all white look for our road games but I dont make the decisions.

Alabama has a long, proud tradition including its football uniforms. We, along with Penn State, Notre (vomit) Dame, Georgia, Michi(gag)gan, and a few others should never change thier uni's. It's part of our identity and no one can take it away from us unless we take it away ourselves.

I generally agree...the only exception would be the white helmets if we are playing a team with red headgear. The different color might help the QB.

Kids today seem to be focussed on painting their faces, arm/leg bands, gloves and the list goes on. I say make them take all of that CRAP off and play football. The only "Accessory I would allow is TAPE! Is this a fashion show or a football game? Like a bunch of women...

What? So "painting" your face before going into "battle" is somehow feminine now? I don't see how... If you think it doesn't matter what they wear as long as they win, what do you care if they add all the "crap." I'm all for tradition, but it's that kind of thinking that prevents progress.

Going to battle is in no way feminine. It is the MAKEUP part that I was referring to. They can wear it, as long as they win. I guess I missed the part in the last six/seven years where we were a powerhouse that everyone feared. If progress is wearing makeup and looking good, we have definitely made progress. Point is quit focussing on how you look, think about your assignments and make your opponents fear you. Makeup never scared anyone on a football field as far as I know.
