I can confidently say that it won't be Bama. I just hope one of the other schools steal him away from Auburn. Fuck them.

Well I hope you right. But, he may have a formerly barner player in his ear. 2007-2010 a Wadley player played for them. I work with his mother, I had to keep my mouth shut. We all know what came in 2010.

We're not really pursuing him, this is just a case of the kid not updating his top 5 in a while. Auburn seems to be the likely landing spot unless $omething changes.

If we're talking about the same guy he's got what I call a "camp offer" that's listed as an offer on a lot of sites: an invitation to camp. I don't believe he's visited.

All I say is this. I'd heard he was looking to get out of state. Four, five weeks ago A&M was the team to beat with Oregon. When I made that earlier post I'd heard Oregon was making a move: rumor has it today they are the team to beat.

I know several that still feel Tank chooses Bama. He's been a fan all his life; makes sense. We just saw this a few weeks ago with Texas and in the end, Bama.

I'm not trying to be a wet rag here. I'm just saying it's not as "locked" as someone would like to believe.

In my view, as mentioned, it's a lot like Crowell. We were all watching Texas and a lot thought he was headed there. The staff closed in the end.

If Tank's goal is the league, which it is, he's not going to be worse off playing under Elko. He may not enjoy his collegiate life as much there as another school. I can't see that as a bad decision. Oregon...a little different.

Not that I've heard when I posted that note. I may have something on my phone...gotta look for it in a little while.

From my perspective they need two QB's and have told Kaawa they plan on taking two in this class. (FWIW, on a different note, his name is pronounced like "Kava.")

We're talking about two guys we can "start watching" in '28: looks like '29 is their contribution year if they are still in Tuscaloosa.
