I'll add this... I've heard from a couple of people that other schools/AD's are trying to get Bama's blueprint to all of this, as they are seeing from afar that UA is one of the few on the right track (and not wasting a lot of time or money getting this right).

I think the guaranteed deals isn't there and it's causing lot of recuits to rethink the whole thing. Bama is Bama. It's more than just NIL deals. Lot of schools can't offer that.

Yeah. I mentioned that possibility earlier. I don't know all the specifics behind the Rashada story and his NIL with UF other than it wasn't what was offered. It makes sense for this to be related.

I also believe it's fair to lay part of the blame at Dan Mullin's feet. He ran their recruiting operation into the ground.

He's was Mack Brown 2.0. He thought he could recruit from behind his desk in Gainesville. Brown thought the same thing in his last year at TX.

KJ Got an offer he could not refuse as they say. That happens in this day and age now. Move on to the next targets and maybe that's a good sign for Tank.

I feel pretty good about Tank to be honest. No inside information, just a gut feeling. While it would’ve been nice to add KJ, I’ll take Tank and call it a day!

Simply a guess on this Ford stuff... But on the surface, it sounds like it was a leverage play by him (his people, whatever). Bama would have taken him, but on their original terms. But it's a game they are not willing to play (not a guess). I seriously doubt anyone on the staff (involved) was surprised at all with how it went down, nor too disappointed. Looks like a case where the premium sites got the hook, line, and sinker. But for it to work, UF had to think he was UA bound, so they played the cards they needed to play. Hopefully that Hays dude from On3 didn't waste too much time on his Bama commitment graphic yesterday.

Based on what's been published he looks like a Bama lean, at least. I know Rodney has said he feels good about him. On the other hand, the last time I looked no one on the 247 network had made a guess. In percentages, the On3/Rivals network as it 31/25 for UA and AU...with a few also rans.

But then there's this thing ... I've also heard he wants to get out of the state (from some folks at his high school.) 50/50 chance that's right and I'm being pessimistic. You know how these high school stories go ...
