New season upcoming, new thread to follow along on the Bama guys... Might as well start it off with this news...

He's been bad tonight, and hasn't been great overall this year, but I like him. Easy guy to root for.

Stroud is awful. They are winning despite him and his turnovers. Their D has outscored the Steelers. But don’t think the league will let Rogers go out with a whimper in his return to the playoffs. I sense a comeback to at least make it close.

I’ll add, the Texans will not win a ring with Stroud at QB. Their D can carry them to certain levels but he is not going to win them a Bowl. They have solid coaching and incredible defensive play, and a pretty good run game.

The Texans D was incredible with Anderson leading the way. Rogers went out with a sputter. Loved watching that.

I only enjoyed it because maybe...maybe, finally Rooney will grow a pair and fire both Khan and Tomlin. Enough BS is enough!

Ha! I doubt he fires either one.

Man, I wish the Panthers would have signed Bryce to a new long deal. If he does better in 2026 than his breakout year if 2025, he could make generational money.

Much like Saban had with ESPN, FOX has had a contact waiting for him... I assume he ends up there. Which is kinda ironic when you consider his predecessor Cower did the same thing, only with CBS, when many speculated he's jump to another team since he had some years left in his tank at the time.

But you talk about a stable situation for a pro franchise... the last 3 coaches (Knoll, Cower, and Tomlin) were there from 1969-2025. That's wild.

Knoll retired and the other 2 “resigned”. Was there pressure on them to step away, maybe some. On Tomlin, it was suspected/rumored that he was going to step down (retire?) after the season even back in the summer.
