I know most folks have figured out by now how this transfer merry-go-round game is played... but for those who fret... again... Alabama will lose some guys (a few now, more later after the season is completed), but they'll lose very few overall that Saban wants to keep... and on the flip side, Bama will fill their holes and needs just fine on the other end. Teams like Alabama and UGA will always come out on the net gain side of the portal game.

Yes and at least a couple more of the A&M guys including LT Overton which I think has been reported (along with Arky LB Chris Paul Jr.). They have tabs on several and there will be a couple of holes to shore up, especially up front on each side. There will be a need for some quality depth at the very least on defense, like they got with Key last round. I think on offense they'll take a WR and a center, but overall they'll be patient for the most part. What I don't think they'll do is just go buy a guy... Saban is willing to spend on transfers, but there's going to have to be a commitment from the other side to buy in and not just be bought... and that ain't the case with some of these dudes (same as the HS recruits).

Not sure if we're gonna go after Sorey or not, but the kid has a TON of potential. We also may have some transfers of our on at the position, so we may need to add depth. I know we already moved Jeremiah Alexander at ILB, and probably will do the same to a few others.... just something to keep an eye on.

Also saw where we're going after Overton. This would be a big get if we could pull it off. We need to get as many d-lineman as possible, whether it be recruiting, or the transfer Portal. Never can have enough talent at the D-line, let's get this done.

Curious about this one myself. I felt like it varies. Some coaches are ok with them playing and others want them gone. Someone will have to make sure I'm correct though as that may have been another conversation.

From what I understand they can play with the team they are on but not 2 teams within one season.
