Running back Alvin Kamara was one of four highly-touted running backs to sign with Alabama in the class of 2013, but the first time he'll be on the field with the Crimson Tide is when he suits up for Tennessee in 2015.

Kamara, a 5-foot-11, 200-pound back, redshirted at Alabama in 2013 and left the program, transferring to Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College. He'll have three years to play three at Tennessee. Alabama hosts Tennessee next Oct. 24.

Kamara is a 4-star junior college recruit and rated as the No. 3 overall junior college prospect by the 247Sports composite. He rushed for 1,211 yards and 18 touchdowns as a freshman at Hutchinson and earned KJCCC Offensive Player of the Year honors.

"Alvin is an extremely competitive kid," Tennessee running backs coach Robert Gillespie said. "He has an explosive element to his game that will allow him to help us immediately. I'm excited to coach him this Spring and believe that his addition will create a healthy competition in the running backs room."

He definitely wasn't worth the trouble. Cocky little bastard coming out of high school after winning two state titles. Always wish young guys luck, so I hope he does well and has matured enough to where he sees an opportunity and can take advantage.
