I don't think so. He had Burton wide open for 6 and threw a Greg McElroy deep pass. Not running more read option with him is just nuts.

How many has Bryce missed? Milroe has seen extremely minimal time the last two years. Let him throw ten of those and I bet he hits seven, just like Bryce. Not going to fold on him after one throw in a tough situation.

I’m relieved, but no so much happy. I’m glad we have A&M at home next week. Got a lot to work on game plan-wise given the change in QB for us. We’ve got to figure it out before UT in 2 weeks. They will put up some points on us.

Alabama’s running game has been underwhelming for much of the year, but McClellan had an 71 yard TD at Texas, then Bryce Young had a huge run to set up the game winning field goal. Today, Milroe’s 77 yard run set up McClellan’s TD, then Gibbs had a 72 yard TD run. I think those last two TDs just put the game out of reach.
