Itās crazy to consider all the money that went into the so called college football arms race over the last several decades wherein athletic departments kept adding more bells and whistles to their infrastructure to attract the best players.
Now in the NIL era, any small school can attract blue chips with enough cash on hand. Just goes to show how little players value all that the traditional top tier programs offer compared to cold hard cash. This makes me wonder if schools like Bama have already begun to lay off support personnel of all sorts to bolster NIL offers. Anyone in the know??
