No he wouldn't be fool to leave if his heart is where he wants to be at. It's not always about money.
Actually, the comment wasnā€™t about money..At Clemson, Woods is an alpha dog and knows the system inside and outā€¦ at another university, he would just be a stick of wood in the cord..He needs to finish his career thereā€¦ He will surely go high in the draft next year..

Just stop. Just stop. Sometimes you need to think before you post. It's not about alpha dog. You don't know what's going on behind his decision should he enter portal. It doesn't matter where he goes... Hell do well.

If heā€™s not an alpha dog there.. then we donā€™t need him here..just sayinšŸ˜‰

MERRY CHRISTMAS

He really needs to find a school that needs a running back badlyā€¦And one with better weather..He would not be a guaranteed starter at Meeshigan..
My understanding is although they list 10 RBs on roster, Michigan top 2 RBs (yards/carries) will be leaving so position is wide open for next season. Iā€™m sure they have some highly touted young backs they have recruited, but Haynes brings experience and I would say proven.

I think Michigan a good fit. Iā€™m just glad itā€™s not South Carolina. Gonna be tough enough next year at their stadium.

If you guys didn't already know this, Peter's mom lives in Tuscaloosa. It's my understanding there are a few times of the year families get together. I can't confirm or deny.

There are a few I consider to be fairly plugged in who are saying they smell smoke.
I think this Tweet from 4 days ago helped get the rumors going.

Schumann???
Lol, no. One of the guys I'm talking about is Nico Johnson, he's currently at Nevada as a DE's coach. I think he could come in and help us, considering what he has to work with there, I think he did a good job. He also did a good job at Texas working with Bo Davis, Davis also spoke highly of him while they were there. In no way am I suggesting he come in and replace Roach, or anyone else .... I just think he could come in and help with that room. I genuinely think he'll be s good coach as his career progresses.

Despite that, I don't know if he'd want to leave his current job for bama. Like Brandon said, we'll have to wait and see..... but if we do, I'd say give it a chance.

Maybe this is known information, but I didn't know, so posting. Big for us.
While there never has been an "official statement" from Sabb, in my opinion this was never a question. Well, it was, sort of, but it was also answered some six or seven weeks ago. And by "sort of," it was a question whose life lasted 48 hours or so following his injury.

DeBoer made the comment the following Monday (?) about his return when he said "it is obvious he won't be back this season." (sic) He also went into complementing Sabb's "commitment level to the program" and mentioned how he'd be "ready to roll" next season.

What did I take from all of that?'

He was injured.
He and the staff discussed the injury and the time table for his return.
They discussed how he fit with the program, how he fit with the vision.
They agreed, they'll all be ready to go for this upcoming season.

As the portal season winds down there is something I have been wondering about. How much stock do you put into portal rankings? For example, right now LSU is #1 and Bama is at 30. Bama has not taken that many transfers, and they have not gotten the highest-ranked players in the portal. But does it matter? If Auburn gets the number one receiver in the portal and Bama gets the 8th ranked receiver, does that mean anything? In my opinion the portal is about filling needs, not winning the player lottery. But what do you think? Should Bama be trying to get the highest ranked players out there? Or just fill needs with the best fit?

The portal is much more about getting the right player for a deficiency on your team than it is about getting a highly ranked player. They do sometimes align, but that is not always the case.

As an example, if you don't have any "starting position deficiencies" and only need the portal to fill depth, you're "portal ranking" is going to be much lower.

Yeah it seems like another grading system would be better for portal..
