So far, no Bama player went in the 4th. Mailman Bennett was 26 (128) in the 4th to the Ram. So far no Bama players in the 5th.

Some LB from Stephen F. Austin was taken by the Chiefs over To'o To'o. No, I didn't expect To'o To'o to go very high, but a LB from Podunk St. gets drafted in front of him in the late 5th? Did To'o To'o have a poor combine?

How bad of advice did Eli Ricks get at this point? He's been projected 4th rounder and at this point I'd bet he's seen as a 7th rounder at best. DJ Dale and Emil Ekiyor are well liked as back-ups and will likely find a way onto a squad in the 6th or 7th also. I think Battle is unlikely to find a roster by the end of this, but who knows.

Hellams, Ricks and EEJr are in the 30-40th best remaining range at the end of round 5. I didn’t see any other Bama guys in the top 100 of best remaining. Dale is like 115. I know that doesn’t mean anything. But I figure we get 2 picked in the final 2 rounds. You never know this late, they start grabbing guys that played division 2 and all sorts of stuff.

Hellams, Ricks, Moody, Randolph, and Ekiyor may as well as well resign themselves to a FA contract. There's no real difference between those players and the vast majority of the 7th round picks who are just taken for depth.
