A few of my "circle" have talked about opening a dinner club here in town along the same niche as The Charleston Rifle Club. It goes against everything known about the restaurant business: #6 on that list.We didn't eat at this place in Chicago. I do really appreciate Ed's approach to his business though!
OT: I'm still chewing, and proposing, we charge $20 for a beer ... gets you a bucket, but it's also the cost of one.
You come in and you might not drink all six. Let's say you give one or two away ... to someone else who has paid $20 ...

Yes. When I was 14 or 15, our church youth group ventured up there I ate a 32 ounce steak, not the 64 ounce challenge. They threw in a monster potato for that challenge.
I always wanted to try that.
My dad would take us there on occasion, as a kid when he'd say we were going to "Bugtussle" I thought it was the name of the town.

Not official, that was when I hit the pause button. I coached for 28 years, so I have used a stop watch a time or two during those days.
