Exactly why I do not participate in the in game threads. Just to jacked up and would probably say some stupid things.

It is all about perspective. Our D did play well in the NC game and kept their offense WELL below their normal output. I am still one that struggles with the new D norms but have to accept it to some degree.
Would love to see a Venn diagram of people who rant and rave in game threads and people who bet money on the same games.

Put me on the side that definitely bets and on the cusp of rant and rave on the game thread. Learning to hold myself in check, but would express questions and a little concern on the game thread.
I don't bet on sports (though I've come close a time or two), but if I did, I wouldn't be able to bet on Bama. It would just take the fun out of it for me.

I'm done betting. I've had a rough year and honestly feel a lot of the time that some games are fixed. After that NFL game with the Eagles and Seahawks earlier this year with the hail mary and going for two with no reason to other than messing up the spread, it's just no longer worth wasting my money. Then I missed a four game parlay in our Natty as I took Under 75.5 and it ended at 76. Just not worth it anymore.
I do it just for fun like with the WJOX Pick 3 contest and such. This season seemed to be the most difficult in terms to having much success. I got so lucky last year, it almost caused me to wager some real money... but the second I do that, I'll lose. I once lost 10 straight hands of casino war in Vegas. I gave up on gambling then.
