Dudy Noble Field from yesterday. They hit a grand slam with the redesign/upgrades. It felt like a much smaller, college version of Petco Park in San Diego.

Yesterday morning I fished my first (very small) snake of the year out of the pool. This morning, had a (also small) turtle show up on the back patio. Maybe tomorrow I can get something cool like a fox to hang out with me.
Nice! We have several around us, but I haven't seen any in a good while... too much new construction. When I first moved to Northport in 2016, saw them pretty often out behind my property. Friend of mine raises chickens nearby... about 3/4 mile as the crow flies, out my back door, and they still visit him on the regular. LOL
I've got a wax myrtle in the back that's become the home for Cardinal's. I saw another hatchling kicked out of the nest this morning. I thought about my phone: didn't remember where I put the damn thing.
Anyway...watched that interaction for about an hour this morning with both the mom and dad feeding the bird...took it an hour to be able to fly fence high (6'.) This makes the second time I've watched that this week: four or five years running now.
I get a little lost just looking at this part...someone has climbed that. Someone has fallen while climbing that. There's probably several wildlife creatures in that image you can't see. Like a snow leopard in Alaska...you don't realize what you are looking at until you realize what you are looking at.
