Richt Wants UF - Bama Rematch

Richt was the only coach who voted for the Gators to play Alabama for the title, which would be a rematch of the SEC Championship game. The Gators defeated the Tide 31-20 on Saturday at the Georgia Dome. The national championship game will be played in Miami on Jan. 8 at 8 p.m.

i don't know man, we could still be playing them from saturday and still be trading FGs for TDs.

I have to agree here that although I think the #1 and #2 teams played last weekend the #1 team won. Now I dont think we are out classed or its lopsided but I do think the Gators are a little better than us. We needed to play flawless to win that game where as they were missing a couple of key players and still won.

A rematch would be interesting but likely end about the same. With recruiting this year being centered more around filling in gaps I think we will be more prepared for the FL's next year.
