Saturday is for all the marbles. Bama has to play well to win this game and Mack will have to play very well for that to happen. Smitty might take enough votes away from Mack (if in fact they both play very well) to cause Mack to just miss on that big ole trophy.
I assume the UF receiver that missed the LSShoe game will play against Bama. UF if they are on can be a tough out. I think Bama is a different beast but UF can be a tough test.
I figure our defense and running game are the difference here. They will win the Heisman for Mack. I figure we get up about 14 points or so, and Saban will go to trying to grind on them. Revert back to 2012. Get a lead and chew up clock. I figure about mid 3 quarter their D will be gassed and Najee and Robinson will start wearing on them in large chunks and we will have a few 5-7 minute drive. If Bama plays their game, and is "on", we win this game by 20.

Yep, the way I was taught from early on as a kid competing in sports. Same message Saban gives the team so why not do the same? You always take every game and opponent serious and then if your wrong so be it. I always say if Bama plays a clean game they usually win. They do not always do that but this team has been about as consistent as I have seen from game to game especially on offense. I contribute that to the OL play which has been awesome all year. Defense has not been as consistent but they have improved a ton as you know.
I hope you are dead on and it gets U.G.L.Y. In the mean time I hope the team works their butt off stays focused and and comes into the game prepared. Comes in and plays with high energy and performs at a very high level in all phases of the game.
Kicking ass and taking names. Leaving no doubt as to which team is the best. Can't believe they have done it against an all SEC schedule! Ten SEC wins with a 49-17 MOV is absolutely incredible. With the UF loss to LSU, Bama is the only team to ever win more than 8 SEC games in a season. EVER.
It really is not that hard for me to find ways for UF to beat Bama. UF plays like they have most of the year on offense w/o turnovers and bama commits turnovers ( I know they have not done much of this all year). This is the SEC and UF has some good players.
Do I expect this? No. I would go on to say this may be the most complete and consistent team Saban has fielded but they still better have their minds right and prepare the right way which they have done all year.

Did LSU not prove this the other night? I mean, they were pulling guys off the street to play defensive back and receiver it seemed. Anything can happen and Florida isn't just going to lay down. I'm not saying they win or even cover, but I remember a few years back they came out hot against us in the SEC Championship, eventually falling, but we knew then the talent gap was amazingly huge. It was closer at half than I expected, but we eventually ran away with it.
If you'll look for a reply earlier today to @Justneedme81 you'll see the two teams compared. Even with LSU's depleted roster they've excelled in every defensive scheme that matched what UF has had success with in their passing game.
