That a depleted roster could play against a more talented roster.
And sometimes it's about matchups and sometimes it's about coaching. LSU was dropping eight and Mullen continued calling passing plays. That's coaching (and it's not a nod to Pelini or his cat.) Matchups? UF's most success comes off smash routes where the LSU defense has only allowed a third of those to be successful this season.

It's almost as if Mullen made his game plan to fit Pelini's defenses strengths.

In the little I watched of Florida this year, Theo greatest success was Trask throwing up 50/50 balls to receivers near the sidelines. But my sample size was small because I only watched short spells here and there between better games.

I'm not arguing with you there, but you still have to make the plays too. LSU may have picked the correct coverages, but their players still had to make the plays and not be exploited by the talent gap. Their depleted offense still had to score points. Heck, a 57 yard field goal in those foggy conditions is amazing. I'm just stating that LSU was not expected to be even close, but they came, they played, and they won. Florida could do that to us is all I'm saying. I think we both know it won't happen, but I'm not going to start counting my money until the game is over.

Speaking of counting money, I hit a four team parlay this weekend that was nice...

Alabama - 31
Georgia -14
USC -3.5
Utah/Colorado over 49

That USC game was wild, and I thought I was doomed. So glad I didn't touch the Florida/LSU game.
