šŸ“” 2018 NCAA Coaching changes - Former Alabama assistant Derrick Ansley lands at Tennessee

What SEC coaching vacancies still on the board?
Any SEC guys be interested in filling out staffs of new coaches? Houston? WV if Holo goes Houston?
What is thoughts on Maryland staff? Who follows Locks to the land of crabcakes?

Don't understand the Holgerson to Houston talk.

He was one win away from a chance to play for a spot in the playoffs.

They should have beaten OU. Think they had a good shot at beating texas. Do they get in over the osu? hard to say.

hard to believe Houston ever has a shot at the playoffs. So its not for a better gig. is it leverage?

Why would anyone think pulling a Mahlzan here would work? OK go to Houston we will hire Kiffen who is a better version of you anyway.

Curious if Mario Cristobal said no. Still, hiring Manny Diaz, after he just obligated himself to Temple is a low blow. Especially because the early signing has come and gone this really feels like a cheap shot by Diaz.

Reportedly Miami is paying Temple $4 million to pull him. Agree it does seem like a low blow/cheap shot. Miami impacting two programs recruiting.

Negative, they weren't going to be rewarded so favorably beating Oklahoma and moving from from #16 into the top 4.

That's not the argument I'm making. I'm arguing he is currently at a school with a path to the playoff.

They beat OU and Tex twice they are in the conversation. At Houston they will never be in the conversation.

The best they can hope for would be the same thing UCF is facing right now. No chance.

So does he really have any leverage at WV with Houston as the out? Or does WV have the leverage that they can do better or just as well and find another coach.
