That's a bit of a surprising hire. Ansley has proven himself to be a good coach in my view. However, one of the downsides is he's not one to "tear it up" on the recruiting trail. He may be able to. I don't know. I know we've not seen it yet. The term I continue to see used is "he not a very motivated recruiter."

Consider Pruitt's history in recruiting I'd have expected a different guy.

Sounds like Pruitt wanted Fair out off the grass so he could hire Ansley (after NSD)

Defensive backs coach Terry Fair is reportedly no longer with the program. Volquest is reporting Fair was offered the opportunity to remain on staff in an off the field role but he declined.

Football scoop...Kentucky...……..Yesterday it was reported that Kentucky defensive coordinator Matt House was leaving to join the Kansas City Chiefs as linebackers coach. However, today, sources tell FootballScoop House has elected to remain at Kentucky. We hear Stoops and the administration took care of House quite well.
