I believe this is going to be a defensive battle from the start. Low score game. Edge to Tua but klemscum can defend very well.

Defense takeaway will make the difference. They are still allbarn with a lake.
Tam played them close
24 - 20 BAMA

We need some INTs to win this game, in my opinion. We’ve only picked off 2 passes in the past 7 games. Lawrence has thrown 2 INTs in the 10 games he’s started, with 370 attempts. Less picks than Tua even. We’re going to have to rattle this kid and pick a couple of passes. He’s a stud and could eat our lunch if we aren’t on our game. They might come out and throw at Surtain every other play until he proves he can lock down his man.

Top 25 teams that both Bama and Clemson played this year!

Clemson: #19 Tex. A&M, #16 NCST, #17 BC, #3 ND. One top 5 win!

Bama: #22 Tex. A&M, #3 LSWHO, #16 Miss.St., #4 UGA, #4 Okla. Three top 5 win!

I'll get this thing started. In the Clemson vs South Carolina game, Clemson gave up 600 total yards. However, the Clemson secondary gave up 510 passing yards to Jake Bentley. That's Jake Bentley of USC.

Conclusion: Pass to set up the run in this one. The DBs are suspect at times and I thought it was interesting that Hubie said during our game with Oklahoma that Clemson was taking away the short slants that were so successful against the Sooners. I don't think the DBs are good enough to take anything we do in the short or intermediate passing lanes without getting drilled with the bomb. Tua is going to see open passing lanes with this opponent.

How do you guys think the Clemson D ranks with the Georgia D? Bama put up 35 points on Georgia in what I think was one of Bama's worse games of the year.

I think this will come down to protection and Tua staying healthy the full game.

If the Bama D cleans up the silly mistakes and penalties from the OU game I think they will be fine.
