You've had better encounters than I have. I'm more thankful I don't have to look up the aisle knowing the 400lb person walking towards me is going to be in the middle seat beside me now that I rarely fly.

And no, even first class seats wouldn’t have provided enough containment. It was a 2x2 seating layout, he had aisle. Fortunately a petite lady had window.

Thankfully my sweat broke when I got to my seat, I dodged a bullet that day.

Process paper work. Go to vehicle location. Pick whatever you want.

Do walk around. They do bar tg as you leave. Another as you come back.

Best airport: San Jose: Small and quick. Can pull up at 5am... and be in my seat 5:30 with coffee in my hand for 6am flight.
