For those trying to move up the standings, make sure you look at the payouts.

Example, if you bet on Alabama to win last weekend, you'd bet $23,000 to win $100. At that rate, you wouldn't be able to move up the standings unless everyone else is losing big time. Change up your strategy, play the spreads and over/unders, where most of the bets you'll put $110 to win $100. Just know there is more risk there as well.
