šŸˆ Why the sudden self promotions by these QBs

I agree, this is News.. Not Self Promotion. These guys are either going to sit on their duffs or work to earn the start.. or create enough buzz to get interest from a potential "transfer" target.
I am not clear whether the Bateman performance against Ole Miss last year was him and his nerves or the play calling. Much like analysts, I was expecting him to run. He was touted as the fastest of the QB's but was not used as anyone would have thought.

Examples?

That was my question...

If a website (like AL.com which Im 90% sure you are referring to)

...which was followed by that thought as well.

Is this any different than any other year with the exception of a lot of these reports also include video? I am very hesitant to use the term "click bait," but to a degree it fits considering the interest in the QB position. Personally, the difference I see is just that—the video's. But it fits with how the media is reporting now-a-day. It's a case of Al.com just catching up with the times, is it not?

I think some news outlets have figured out that some fans are dying for any football information between May and August. I'm sure if you followed other teams' websites or lived in those areas you'd see something similar.

Running QBs get hit, by very big, angry men, a lot. I don't think Saban has a desire to see his QB get hit on a regular basis.

Uhhhhh ever heard of this guy... his name was Blake Sims? He broke like every QB record at Alabama... he had some pretty good legs... oh and there is that little problem that like 3 of the last four QBs Saban has recruited have been "running QBs"... or at least "dual threats"... so yes Saban want QB that run...
