What an odd question.

I'll bet the majority here can tell you who the two coaches were. I'll also bet they can name two on the UM team. They may be able to name one player on Nebraska's squad.

As to who UM played? Maybe a few will know. There's a greater chance they know who Nebraska played in their bowl game.

The answer is Nebraska.

For those who may not remember that period.

1995: Nebraska ran over Florida out in Tempe. What was it...beat them by something like 40? Two years later Nebraska did the same thing to Tennessee in the Orange. But, they only beat the Vols by something like three touchdowns that day. A few years later Nebraska met UT again and won...coincidentally, that was the same year Bama met Michigan in Florida and lost.

Tom Brady led UM down the field and the Jew, Epstein kicker put it through to beat Bama late in the 4th qrtr. I was at my hunting camp with a buddy watching on a 19" Tube type TV with rabbit ears. I'm pretty sure that game was on CBS.

I do remember an unknown Tom Brady as the QB. Earlier in the decade we faced another unknown eventual hall of fame QB.

It wasn't a DuBose thing. The defense did give up a 14 point lead: twice.
