| FTBL Which CFB HC hires that didn't work out surprised you the most?

Frost at Neb.
Yeah that one shocked me. I don't think Frost is a shitbag coach; his turnaround at UCF was incredible and he deserves a lot of credit for that. I sincerely think that Frost's issues at Nebraska were personnel in nature. Maybe he realized that being a coach at a place like Nebraska was more difficult than he imagined it would be and that dragged him down.

Some other ones off the top of my head:

-Dan Hawkins at Colorado
-Howard Schnellenberger at OU in the mid/late 90s.
-Possibly Jimbo Fisher this year at Texas A&M (For what Texas A&M paid for, they aren't getting a good ROI.)

Nebraska could definitely make some noise with their recruits/transfers this year. Will be interesting how much of a leash they give for Rhule when they only gave frost a short leash despite him being a Nebraska Poster Boy.

I'd say - Dan Mullen - I really thought with a better recruiting area/angle and all he'd be able to bring Florida back or at least keep them a top 10 threat.
