šŸˆ Where’s Terrion Arnold?

We need some players at safety with ball skills. Our safety never breaks on the ball and more often than not they have their eyes on the QB and that is a big plus. The DB's are having to run with their back to the QB and then attempt to rake the ball out. We're still playing downhill players at safety but it looks like more speed is needed as well as the ability to tackle. We have too many weak areas to overcome. No real star within the DL. One pretty good ILBer and one average. Two average safety's. We're much close to ordinary on defense than good and forget great.

Josey, Who’s the best of the inside LB on the team, in your opinion?

Has to be Henry at this point. Lawson didn't pass the smell test and I am sad about that. Moody has been at Bama for 6-8 years and never was a starter. Fact is he was a B list recruit because we missed on everybody.

Truth is we don't have a best ILBer. What concerns me is none of the young folks are pushing the starters for playing time. That doesn't bode well for the future.

I am disappointed in the fact that none of our inside backers can stop the runner in the hole. We seem to let them gain at least a couple of extra yards each time. See Henry after Rick’s PI in the end zone. LSU runs from the 2 yard line. Henry hits the guy about a 1/2 yard behind the LOS & the guy stumbles into the end zone. Disappointing….

I wouldn't doubt Kendrick Blackshire would be a good fit to see what he can do, but I doubt coach wants to hurt Henry at this point with playing time and the Draft coming next year for him. Of course we keep hearing the scheme is so difficult that maybe none of them can figure it out, so who is to blame there?

We have so many problems that it is hard to know where to start. The bigger problem is you will not know where you actual are in the rebuild until we play in 2023. As soon as the jocks and socks are put away and the recruiting class is signed the fanbase will start the annual overhype of the team right up to the 1st game.

I always found it funny to read that Vandy will have 16 starters return for their next season. I mean if you're not worth a shit why get excited about the same folks returning.

If Nick Saban is more worried about hurting the feelings of a starter that's not a great player and less about finding outstanding players, then he needs to turn in his keys tonight. He can go sell MB's in Irondale.

Yeah I doubt this is the case. To'o To'o is the best we have. He is a really good LB but physicality is not his strength it is knowledge.

awson didn't pass the smell test
Why do you say that? I thought when he was in he was playing well. Granted I did not see all of the Who game but did he play much in that game?

I don’t recall seeing him at LB at all. Don’t know about special teams.
