🏈 What will it take to beat the barn

The barn is amped up and they think they can beat us. I believe only Bama can beat Bama, that being said, we have to start fast in the first quarter and not wait for the second quarter. We have to eliminate stupid penalties and red zone fumbles. We have to punch them in the mouth long and hard and let them know why we are the number 1 team in the nation. We need to overcome and outlast their emotion and make their ass quit. I believe we will and we will win with double digits.

Title should read "What would it take for the barn to beat us" and the answer would be for there unbelievable luck to continue through our game and Bama play like they did against Miss. St.

I think this game will look a lot like the Michigan game last year. *U may hit it on a couple of big plays, but Bama will control both LOS and will completely have the game in hand by the half. The crowd is the difference. Like bamaledge said, Bama needs to hit 'em early and often.

We can not start slow and go 3 and out the first few times we have the ball. If we take the ball first which CNS seemingly likes to do we really need to get some kind of points on that very first drive a TD would be optimum but a field goal wold still be OK. Then we need to make the barn punt on their first possession, a 3 and out would be great and turnover even better but just so they don't score any points on that first drive. Then we really need a TD on our second drive, if we go up 10 or 14 to zip I believe the barn starts to panic and it could just snowball from there.

I agree with all the above comments. I would just emphasize two points: (1) Ball security is critical - Alabama can't muff punts, kickoff returns, etc. Just don't turn the ball over in any circumstance; (2) Don't get lax after going up by 2 touchdowns or 3 or whatever; play lights out on both sides of the ball until there is no chance of a Barn comeback.
