I have amazon prime right now and wondering if i should get Netflix or upgrade my cable programming to watch some of the newer movies that are out.

We have Netflix (not streaming though). We have no problems with it.

i don't stream. i'm actually anti-streaming.

i vastly prefer physical media over any type of streaming service.

Synology DS1812+ in the house with 6TB of storage, expandable to 18 drives.

I recently got a Raspberry PI 2 Model B for another use at the house. I think I'm going to buy another one to see how it works as a XBMC server. This thing is sweet as hell if you haven't checked one out. ARM processor 900MHz quad core with 1GB of ram. https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-2-model-b/ I paid ~$70 for one with a case, 8GB microSD card, USB wifi adapter, case, and power cord.

Started to get a Raspberry Pi but in the end I decided to just repurpose some old parts and build a whole PC to replace our PS3 before it dies. Works great since I can also use it as a media server. Last thing to do at some point is buy BluRay for it so I don't need a separate one.
