WAY above the rim. Once saw a photo of Bill Russell hanging from the top of the backboard. It was taken at either the 1955 or 1956 Final Four. Story line said his coach (Phil Woolpert) had told one of the other coaches Russell could do it flat footed from beneath the basket. The coach didn't believe it so Woolpert had Russell prove it.
