| FTBL What did you guys think about "Under the Lights?"

re

I thought the show was great. Learned a couple of new things (about the scripted A). Got to learn more about how Saban motivates players to do things they couldn't do believe they began believing in themselves and their teammates.

Great show

I think in this feature, we see how personable Coach Saban really is with the players. Glad we got to see the edited version, lol!!!

I saw an Auburn tag just a few minutes ago and it reminded me of another comment Saban made.

On his way to the stadium he looked out the SUV window and saw a guy wearing an Auburn shirt. He said, "That guy is wearing an Auburn shirt, he must be a glutton for punishment."

We don't get it down here, or either they played something more local. I have 5 freakin Fox SPorts stations. Maybe it will appear on the internet soon.

Most of it I had seen before. But, one thing caught my eye and made me proud.

If you have seen the pictures of the locker room you are familiar with the insignia (Script A circled by UofA) in the middle. Saban's comments about how that part of the locker room was sacred, that you can't stand on it alone. We stand on this area as a team.

Stirring stuff.

I was able to go into the locker room when it was first built just before the 06 season. That logo is just outside the exit to go out on the field. There is also a guote from Bear Bryant that they see just before they hit the field. If I can find it, I'll post it.

"Simply put, football is eyes, movement and contact."

If you shoot over to Rolltide.com, click on football and the facilities you can see the "A" and the quote you are talking about...pretty sure it's there.

yep, thats it. I personally think the quote is funny because it's true.

You cant blink or you will miss three or four of those tags here Terry :D

Me and my father watched this together, we both laughed really hard about that comment. We had said the same thing that day when we saw people going in the stadium with Aubrun stuff on.... One or two orange shirts in a sea of crimson. Don't they have something, anything better to do with their life?

Nope. That's why they were at BDS. To actually see a team of GREATNESS step on the field. I wonder how many of those people traded in their orange shirt for a crimson shirt. :D

How about him yelling at Jimmie Johns.

"Where is your head today? On everyplay?"

That scared me for next year at LB.

Apparently there was a funny exchange between JPW and CNS at a team meeting, but the volume was too low for me to understand their conversation. Does anyone know what was said?

I enjoyed hearing Rashad Johnson talk about his experience in the football program, and I liked his quote at the end: "There's nothing better in the world to be right now than an Alabama football player."

JP was asking if the Monday meeting was still at 7...Saban responded along the lines of "it always is."
