With Thanksgiving coming up in about 5-6 weeks and after reading @bamafan9201 post last evening, what are you thankful for? Guys, when it comes right down to it, we all are blessed much more than we deserve. Yes, we go through rough patches in this thing called life but we have many things we can and should be thankful for. I am going to start with:

Family-been married 43 1/2 years, have two wonderful sons and two outstanding daughter in laws and three GRANDS!

My mom and dad are still living. Mom is 91 and my dad will be 93 this Friday. They have suffered some health setbacks the past 10 months but I still have them!!!

Believe it or not, I am thankful for my new job after a year of hating retirement.

I am thankful for the posters on here. Some of us go back to the "Tusks" days. I have only meet @Bamabww in person but some of you have become friends over this site.

So, I'll say it again, what are you thankful for? It's ok to be repetitive if someone has posted something you want to say. May God bless you and your families as we all walk through the journey of life.

A lot of the same things you have Mike.

My family, just celebrated 20 years of my wife putting up with me, 3 daughters, and my folks are still around.

The life I get to experience. I've enjoyed being retired and traveling around this beautiful country, meeting people, and seeing sites I only read about as a kid.

Being blessed to live in the US where we can all have so much to be thankful for and for those who serve to continue to ensure that.

Most of all, a gracious God. Like you said, we are all blessed more than we deserve. I know I am.

I’m grateful for my wife, my family, my faith, my friends and my health. I’m currently sitting in a boat on the Rhine, locking through a dam a little before 10pm local time, enjoying a wonderful vacation with six other couples. I’m thankful that we lived beneath our means over the last four decades and made good decisions to prepare us for retirement, and that we are now reaping the rewards of that.

You would have a field day at the Coon dog cemetery up here near the Rattlesnake Saloon my friend. A 2-fer one special. 😛
August.

I'm going to say this. Cheers to you. I am grateful I met you.

We've done the dive bar. We've done the "middle class" bar. And I know, deep down, you hate the white table cloth places.

I'm thankful for my wife. She was there for me during my dark period when I lost both my parent back to back within a year. October 21 will mark three years since my dad passed and December 4th will mark two years since mom passed.

I'm grateful for little things I have in my life. Just family and friends. Things are hard these days and I'm one of them that's likely getting furloughed in coming days... But at the end of the day...I'm blessed.

1. Most of my family. Mrs. Ledge!!! Truly my soulmate! 6 grandsons. No, zero, grand princesses.
2. The way my daddy raised me. Didn’t think I would ever say that, but in this day and age…
3. Most of you people on this here forum.
Much more but I can’t think of it all.
