| FTBL What about those war eagels

I don’t think their performance was “that” bad. They have made a lot of mistakes on offense this year and it appeared to me, that while the score was tied or they had the lead, they were going to be conservative and not give the game away. The formula for beating them appears to be to grab an early lead, put pressure on Todd, then capitalize on his mistakes. They just need to play a team with a good enough passing game to attack their corners and grab that early lead.

UGA will destroy this Auburn team. They have one of the worst offensive units I've ever seen. I remember 2005, when I'd rather Bama's defense just stay on the field than to see the offense come out and be embarrassed. I know that is how AU fans feel right now. Just knowing that you have a better chance to score with your defense is a bad feeling. :( I hate it for them. :D

2005? thats the year we went 10-2 with Prothro showing out until his injury

Knee-jerk reaction - They SUCK eggs!!

Realistically - T'ville is a good coach and they will continue to improve. But, if they don't improve by next week against LSU they run the risk of having a disasterous season. I wouldn't be surprised to see them blown out. But, I also wouldn't be surprised to see them whip LSU in a close one. LSU hasn't played ANYONE yet.

But, Auburn's offense is far from impressive so far. Especially given the performance of some other teams this week:

Texas Tech (43-7 over SMU, 693 total yards)
Missouri (69-17 over Nevada, 651 total yards)
Oklahoma (55-14 over Washington, 591total yards)
Penn State (55-13 over Syracuse, 560 total yards)
Alabama (41-7 over W. Kentucky, 557 total yards)
BYU (59-0 over UCLA, 521 total yards)
USC (35-3 over Ohio St., 348 total yards)
Auburn(3-2 over Miss. St, 315 total yards)

Whatever happens the rest of this season, you can be sure they will bring their A-game by the time we play them - like they always do. I just hope that by then our team is hitting on all cylinders and does not take them lightly no matter what their record happens to be.

maybe it was 2006? After Prothro got hurt, we sucked.

Auburn's defense was extremely tough. MSU's D looked stout as well. I believe MSU and the barn have the worst offenses in the the league by far.

ok so like my thread earlier last week.. Auburn will lose badly to the first good team they play.

their offense is horrible mainly because of the QB. they had a good running game with Lester but now that he's out it's just some young guys i think and the lumberjack #44 (slow).

If the game is left up to Todd, the eagles are basted. He was just throwing the ball up for grabs. as a matter of fact... if MSU's secondary wasn't HORRIBLE, they would have won that game by a couple of field goals. Todd practically tried to give them the ball and they were just out of position.

seriously i don't think Todd can throw further than about 35-40 yards without lofting the ball up for grabs.
