No, I do think we may have under estimated their trick plays a little. After the D calmed down we pretty much shut them down with a few exceptions. Our offense went a little stale there on several drives. Honestly we should have had a comfy lead by the end of the 3rd...

I dont think we looked past auburn one bit, we dont need any kind of silly excuse other than auburn put a decent game plan together and never quit fighting but on the flip side we never gave up especially Greg Mcelroy who took a lickin'.

No, no we weren't. The guys played great today, the only extended drive seemed to come off the onside kick. Those big plays came on plays designed to beat US based on tendancies, which they created during their off week.Florida might try something akin to it, but we will be ready now.

McElroy impressed the hell out of me this game. The running game wasnt working well, he took it on himself, and took some NASTY hits. Even with all of that, he remained poised and showed us all that he is a winner.

100% agree! Man, there was a couple of times I thought for sure he was not gonna get up! Hat's off to Greg, he's shaping up to be a great QB.

They had nothing to lose and threw two weeks into it and it almost worked. They controlled the line of scrimage and kept Mark's rushing at bay. I think we didn't throw the ball enough in light of their game plan but we won it in the end so it doesn't matter. Could be they had a helluva game plan and execution or there is something to the SI Jinx.

I think their bye week and our short week played a huge role in the close game... Bring on the Gators!
