Tied 10 all at the end of regulation. 9 OT later it was a 20-18 win for Illinois. OT rules have got to change back to something like we had before. That was painful. Hell, maybe even a shoot out, starting at OT3 start having them kick a FG every OT with it at the 20 in OT3 and moving backwards 10 yards every OT.
After third OT now you only do a 2 pt conversion, nothing else. OT1 and OT2 they both got a FG. OT8 they both made the 2 pt. OT9 Illinios made the 2 but Penn State did not.
@rocknthefreeworld it's...just funny? They changed the rules, citing injury and seven overtimes, and we see the new system have seven overtimes where a player (QB) gets injured?
Yes. Except there is no TD or FG possibility to change the game other than 1 play for 2 points. You go to one end of the field, Team 1 tries a 2 pt, team 2 tries a 2 pt. If still tied you go to the next OT at the other end. Rinse and repeat.
