Alabama has been known to bring in outside coaching talent to use in various roles around the program. Recently, the Crimson Tide hired former USC coach Steve Sarkisian to become an offensive analyst for the team.

The move makes sense for Alabama on a lot of levels, but Fox Sports college football expert Joel Klatt joined The Herd on Wednesday to let loose a theory that, if true, shows how much of an evil genius Nick Saban really is.

At first, Klatt wondered whether Saban hired Sarkisian as a way to groom him for the team’s offensive coordinator role if Lane Kiffin leaves after the season. Then, has a different idea involving LSU that is pretty mind-blowing.
