Sounds like Vegas expects Bryce to play... Eh?
Just the opposite. Line has dropped 7 1/2 points today. I'm surprised the game is still up.Sounds like Vegas expects Bryce to play... Eh?
I am afraid you may be right. If BY is healthy it stays double digits. I am afraid it is being adjusted because they expect Milroe and they just saw how he struggled.Just the opposite. Line has dropped 7 1/2 points today. I'm surprised the game is still up.
I think the UT to cover money is going to the largest line, driving it down. I don't think the line moved because of an injury update.I am afraid you may be right. Exactly. Tidestalker was correct in that the Vegas oddsmakers obviously set the opening line thinking that Young would play. And I should have qualified that in my reply to him. Because of the online betting sites, opening lines are being set earlier and earlier. The Bama -ut line was set at 16 1/2 by Fanduel on May 10 at 11:45 PM ET.I think the UT to cover money is going to the largest line, driving it down. The VI Consensus was at -14.5 yesterday morning. To get that number they apparently use the number that is most common at all of the sportsbooks. They would be better suited to use an average of all the numbers. As the OP shows there were some already at 8 1/2. The timeline of all the line movements is in my link above in post #25.I'm not sure that 14' line yesterday was good to begin with.
He was throwing last week.Has anyone heard if Bryce was throwing today at practice?
Is it a matter of pain? Or arm strength being limited? He was throwing last week.
It's sore. College football has good drugs. Is it a matter of pain? Or arm strength being limited?
I’m going to assume BY atleast gives it a shot. My worry is his ability to throw deep ball and/or ability to take a hit/fall.
True...they can limit pain to some degree...but ...let’s consider this....for a moment....and it hurts me to say it....It's sore. College football has good drugs.
I understand the nature of the schedule and how to retain a way forward, but it's Tennessee. It matters. One loss would have to be the only loss to get in.True...they can limit pain to some degree...but ...let’s consider this....for a moment....and it hurts me to say it....
But
Tennessee doesnt matter..win or lose...it doesn't matter
Have all rest of SECw...to play...win it ( and who is an obstacle ?) and then SEC CG....and thats a bid to CFPs
Can give him 3 weeks to be better.... should be 100% in 3 weeks...
Could lose him for season if hurt again...
Just a thought
It counts in SEC standings. It matters.Tennessee doesnt matter..win or lose...it doesn't matter
IF you're thinking about the same shoulder, every quarterback could be lost if they were hurt in the same fashion. While it would be the same injury, it would be new: no structural damage with his shoulder.Could lose him for season if hurt again...

Is it something just sore like a bruise, or something that has a slight tear that could really get bad?
no structural damage with his shoulder.
I know. Every player is subject to same...but if its more suspect....IF you're thinking about the same shoulder, every quarterback could be lost if they were hurt in the same fashion. While it would be the same injury, it would be new: no structural damage with his shoulder.
