The sooners or the gators are next. If they win and I haven't a clue who they play this week. I have just been focused on Bama this week.

A one loss USC is not impressive enough to get into the NC game.

A one loss Ohio State, same thing.

My take is that entering week 5 we can predict that the NC game will be the Big 12 winner vs. the SEC winner.

No more Ohio State, no more USC, Notre Dame sucks, who will the media love fest hook up with now?

Unless there are 3 unbeaten teams, I fully expect to see a 1 loss USC or OSU in the BCS. Wow, I've really gotten synical in my old age.

USC just lost to a 2-2 Pac Ten team but we all know that ESPN could never stop its love for the Trojans.

Stat of the GAME:

1. This is the first time a team ranked No. 1 has lost a game on a Thursday.

Thats amazing to think about! Every year with all the new number 1's they dont lose on thursday!!

I think we (not as #1) lost 2 Thursday games in Dubose's last season at the helm. I don't think we've played in one since.

I don't remember the Thursday night games w/ Dubose at the helm (not saying we didin't, I just don't remember them), but we did beat So Miss on a Thursday night in 2001 during a monsoon. The game was pushed back to the end of the season due to 9/11. It was actually played after the Auburn game.
