Ahhh, I didn't think on that level. Dirty stuff right there. Aggies were feeling special coming to the SEC, now they gotta share with Texas again.

I thought for sure this was all drummed up BS, but dang if it ain't happening, and quickly. Ugh, that means we gotta hear that Texas cry baby shit each and every year now. Having two teams like Georgia in the same conference almost sounds dreadful.

I would have thought that the votes were secured by Sankey prior to this getting out. Not necessarily prior to formal voting. Are you saying that is not the case?

I don't think he'd have to have every vote secured before bringing it to the Presidents. The way the SEC votes, it's a 14-0 vote the vast majority of the time. A&M may object but in the end it'll go the way Sankey feels best. And, I do believe, every school will follow with their vote while we see a few complaining in public.

I pretty much subscribe to that, despite the guy who broke it, denying it...



Of course, he could just be trying to give them cover. All I do know is, Sankey would be red hot (behind the scenes) if he found out A&M leaked it.

This doesn't pass the logic test with me.

I can see someone from Texas or Oklahoma leaking this story to take attention away from A&M. What I don't see is why A&M would choose to leak this minutes before Jimbo takes the podium. It's literally taking all his, and A&M's, spotlight away.

What benefit do they have here?

I don't deny the possibility they'd cut off their nose to spite their face.
