If he was a normal guy we'd never hear about it, so not sure what your point is there. Also, and this may shock you, I've taken stances on people involved in trials who have no connection to The University. I know that sounds weird, but not everything I think or talk about is connected to Alabama. Obviously, this situation is connected, and it's a big story, and this website is centered around Alabama sports. Of course it is going to be of big interest.
If Miller somehow complicit at this point (he isn't, but I'll step into your seemingly wishcasting world of fantasy for a moment), it would mean that there is an active coverup going on with those involved in the investigation and with the D.A.'s office. But I'm still at a loss at what you think the defense would do with him. "...things could happen..." What things? Are they going to argue that Miller did the shooting? Is that what you're trying to imply?
I agree that The University will continue to be attacked by the media. I don't really care at this point, they'll do what they do. My only concern there is how the athletic department (and school officials) continue to handle it. So far, they haven't done great IMO.
