| MBB/WBB UPDATE 9/29: New Patch article: Pre-Trial Immunity Hearing For Darius Miles Started Today

Just logged on and surprised (not) that this has grown to 13 pages. I learned a long time ago to take a breath and let the events unfold and the facts will come out. At one time the the Duke Lacross team was totally guilty until the facts came out. I have not idea either way but I do know a young lady is dead and Mr Miller played some part in that even if it was unintentional.

I stated yesterday the media is going to keep hammering so get used to it.
The DA in that case knew the men were not guilty all along…He tried to save face by playing the victims race card and used the race of the defendants to his advantage too… Nifong’s inner circle sold him out…Thank God..

I do not pretent to know much about the details of the case certainly not after the real facts came out. The point was they were convicted by the media and public opinion. Let the facts playout one way or the other.

Yeah… and the defense will cross examine him…
A hostile witness is a witness who appears to be refusing to fully testify in support of the person who called them or testifies in a way that significantly differs from their pre-trial statement

Takes just a quick google search to not just come up with stuff from your butt man. If you wanna post opinions, best to make sure you understand the semantics behind the topic you're posting on.

Cross Examining a witness is a common theme among all trials, a HOSTILE witness is a antagonizing, lying under oath (perjury)/false testimony, or stating something that contradicts any previous statement made pre-trial in their testimony. Just because they cross examine him, doesn't make him a hostile witness. It makes him a MATERIAL witness, he has first hand information about some of the events that transpired. Material witnesses are attacked by the defense to try to tear their testimony down against their client and are usually booked under the prosecution to build a better case. They may attempt to call in to question the credibility of Brandon Miller's testimony but video evidence backs it up so it would be a waste to question him much, but nobody would consider him Hostile. He doesn't gain/lose anything if Miles is considered guilty or innocent.

The only reason you are defending Miller is because he is an Alabama player…that’s it.. if this was just a normal guy no one here would give it a second thought at all… I’ve seen court cases for years… and if Miller is in anyway complicit it may come out on the witness stand … Im just saying things that could happen… This thing isn’t over… The university will be attacked from all ends for letting him play.. and Oats statements…

If he was a normal guy we'd never hear about it, so not sure what your point is there. Also, and this may shock you, I've taken stances on people involved in trials who have no connection to The University. I know that sounds weird, but not everything I think or talk about is connected to Alabama. Obviously, this situation is connected, and it's a big story, and this website is centered around Alabama sports. Of course it is going to be of big interest.

If Miller somehow complicit at this point (he isn't, but I'll step into your seemingly wishcasting world of fantasy for a moment), it would mean that there is an active coverup going on with those involved in the investigation and with the D.A.'s office. But I'm still at a loss at what you think the defense would do with him. "...things could happen..." What things? Are they going to argue that Miller did the shooting? Is that what you're trying to imply?

I agree that The University will continue to be attacked by the media. I don't really care at this point, they'll do what they do. My only concern there is how the athletic department (and school officials) continue to handle it. So far, they haven't done great IMO.

You guys have been insulting me… I’m no shrinking violet is all… I counter punch back..Give respect and you will get it.. There could be other things coming out… who knows… but some others and I are getting cussed and insulted by keyboard commandos
OK, so here's the thing.

You've brought the insults upon yourself because you have clearly displayed for all to see here that you're a fucking moron.

I, @Brandon Van de Graaff and others have asked you valid questions and you have yet to answer a single one.

So yeah. You've dug your own hole there, slick.

The defense can choose to call Miller because he could have exculpatory evidence, otherwise unknown to all of us right now…due to the fact Miller has not been charged , he must answer questions .. if the prosecution calls Miller, well then, the defense can impeach any testimony that Miller may be coached on… Miller could not refuse impeachment..

This dude is a shoe store "loss prevention" flunkie that calls himself law enforcement.

He's watched 1.67 episodes of Law and Order.

Bruh clearly knows his legalese.

The shooter grabbed it out of his car.

That's been made clear multiple times.
We agree... He was involved in an exchange that resulted in the murderer receiving the gun from his vehicle.

That's all I was saying in my post. Nothing to do with whether or not that's criminal... Not being emotional... Simply stating what I think we both agree to be the truth.

Once again you fail to actually understand the information you're spouting. Impeachment is only applicable if his testimony pre-trial and during trial changes. It has nothing to do with coaching or whatever other crap you're spewing at the moment, dude. You've really got to start getting a handle, people aren't wrong calling you a troll if you keep coming in here saying things that you don't even understand the definitions of.

I know exactly what I’m saying dickhead.. If Miller testifies he can’t refuse cross examination…During a trial.. STFU
