| GAME THREAD đźŹ€ UNC Asheville vs Alabama 🏀 - 8 CT on ESPNU

Reid almost made it to double digits also, at 9 points.

Bama honestly should've had some more, need to improve some from the FT stripe and avoid costly turnovers on when you're on the break. Great game from the team, always stuff to fix and build on but overall a great performance.

7 players in double figures, Sears with his automatic 20, 4 players with 7+ rebounds, Philon with 9 assists (to bo with 3 steals and 2 blocks), team with 1.59 points per possession... Bama only missed more than 2 consecutive shots twice all game. Asheville only made more than 2 consecutive shots twice all game. The level of the competition was low, but hard to walk away from that one and not feel pretty good after game 1.

Crazy part to all this is while the box score on ESPN shows 10 turnovers I counted around 13.

We also missed on some free points from the FT stripe.

As we said earlier, defensive rebounding wasn't bad but there were definitely a few where we were in position and got out hustled/played.

Smarter plays, there were a few where we just tried to drive the lane against 3-4 guys and had wide open 3 looks we passed up instead of passing out to them. Still stuff we can clean-up this game and I'm sure CNO will point those out to the team and say, we're not 100% yet. That's scary, a team that can hang over 100 every game could be more explosive
